WhoDNS
Domain, DNS & Security Toolkit

About WhoDNS

A unified suite of professional DNS, domain, network, security and DevOps tools — fast, install-free, and built to work reliably even where access to foreign services is restricted.

Our vision

We believe web-infrastructure tools should be accessible, fast and dependable for everyone. WhoDNS brings them together in one clean, bilingual interface and keeps as much as possible local and independent of foreign intermediaries — direct UDP DNS lookups, SSL/TLS checks with local OpenSSL, and client-side processing for tools that need no server.

Our security commitment

  • All database queries use prepared statements (no SQL injection).
  • CSRF protection on every state-changing form, with secure session tokens.
  • Output escaping and anti-XSS; user content is whitelist-sanitized.
  • SSRF guards: tools never connect to internal/private addresses.
  • Security headers, rate limiting and two-factor login (TOTP).

Our privacy commitment

  • Private keys and certificates are never stored on the server.
  • Many tools run entirely in your browser (nothing is sent to the server).
  • Shared files are temporary and auto-deleted after a short period.
  • No data selling, no ad trackers; analytics only to improve the service.
  • Minimal external dependencies — most processing happens locally.

Frequently asked questions

Is WhoDNS free to use?
Yes, the public tools are free. Some DevOps features (SSH/FTP/monitoring) require signing in.
Do you store my data?
Keys, certificates and sensitive inputs are not stored. Shared files are temporary and auto-deleted.
Why do some tools work without foreign internet?
DNS lookups run directly over UDP and TLS checks use local OpenSSL, so they do not depend on foreign intermediaries.
How do I report an issue?
Use the “Tickets” section (after signing in) to submit a question, suggestion or bug report with attachments.
