Build anti-spoofing email records and add them to your DNS as TXT records.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between SPF and DMARC?
SPF is the list of servers allowed to send mail for your domain; DMARC decides what happens to mail that fails SPF/DKIM and sends abuse reports.
What does the DMARC p parameter (none/quarantine/reject) mean?
none only monitors and reports, quarantine sends suspicious mail to spam, and reject blocks it entirely. It is best to start with none and tighten over time.
What are the rua and pct parameters for?
rua is the email address that receives aggregate DMARC reports, and pct sets the percentage of messages the policy applies to (e.g. 100).
Where and how do I add these records?
Both are added as TXT records in your DNS; SPF goes on the root domain and DMARC on the _dmarc host name.
